The eagerly anticipated show, The King and I which lands in London’s West End this June have added to their cast with another award winning actor.
The King and I have already announced Kelli O’Hara, Ken Watanabe and Ruthie Ann Miles to star during the West End run at the historic London Palladium.
Now one of Japans leading actors, Takao Osawa, star of both the big and small screen in his native Japan, adds to the already talented roster.
Set in 1860s Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children.
The King and I is at the London Palladium from 21st June until 29th September 2018.
